Yeah, I bought the 6.0l setup. Totally my fault. I saw it in the ad and never thought twice - I just assumed they were the same. That being said, I'm actually glad I got the 6.0l setup. A few unplanned expenditures due to buying mufflers, but no biggie.
So....to clear things up: The 4.8l and 5.3l setup come with a Y-pipe. The 6.0l comes with a dual-in pipe setup (into your stock 6.0l dual-in muffler).
if you'll go look under an SS truck or a VHO they have true dual exhaust all the way back to the muffler where as us with the 4.8-5.3 have a y-pipe. i actually contemplated getting a set of 6.0 OBX's to do my true dual setup...
