No No.. I can burn something in, right in the middle of a bedside and you cant tell. This is what you do, you get foam masking tape(we call it rope), use that on the edge of the tape so that it causes it not to leave a tape line, then on the first coat of clear stay at least 3 inches from that rope, leaving a dry spot. On your second coat of clear, clear up to the rope, then immediately after get some Hot temperature reducer and dust that over the paint line where the rope was. That melts the new clear into the old clear, leaves a little line, but the line sands out very easliy with 1500 gritt paper. Then buff it and BAM no one can even see it, not even me. Did you stay with me there? Or do I need to get pics?

pics would be amazing im not sure about the rope tape you speak of. last time i folded the tape up on the body line and you couldnt tell but on the flat spot it was obvious.. and im no painter i never even took body class in highschool. i understand what your saying for sure though i think im going to spend a little money on a gun this summer and play around next winter with it. learn a little. the mechanics will be done on my truck and itll be time for paint and body. which wont be much.

Nothing is hard to match when you have this.... Especially if its a factory color

If you invest in a gun do not get a jeep gun. I spray with Iwatas. Those and Satas are the best.

I will try and get some pics of the stuff I am talking about.
