well i paid 12.95 for my vette servo and 50 for the billet 4th servo, but for a complete setup with the pin installed, that doesnt look to bad.

Ill be installing mine here pretty soon.

wow, OK guys I'm new to this whole thing, but can you explain what these servos do? Dose it just firm up your shifts? My truck shifts into 3rd way to soon would this take care of that? Thanks I have only been on this site like a week and everyone has taught me a lot. Oh and have made me start to spend a lot!!!

i think the spring controls shift point and the servo moves more fluid, which means a more positive shift....not sure though, dont know much about transmissions either.

im not real sure on the servo's either i thinks it let more fluid in because of more pressure which causes less friction on the tranny cuz we all know the trannies worst enemy. dont take that info for 100% though i just know that everone that builds a tranny says get some vette servo's or some super holds for more hp motors.

they engage the the band quicker and firmer, the servo's and the transgo improver kit are the best things you can do to the 4l60e, be sure to clean off the cover with brake clean really well before you take it off, you gotta keep it clean, I put the transgo kits in every transmission I build and its worth it, if you have high miles it should be the first thing on your to do list.
