The 799 is the same casting as the 243 just made at a different GM foundry. You'll see them on the 6.0's - Vette's, GTO's etc... They both flow the same and have the same specs just different numbers. They're no different from Patriot taking a raw 035 raw castings and machining the LS6 style head.

Yes, but there could be comprssion ratio differences not to mention you have a smaller bore on a 5.3. What are these going on your 6.0?
