    No you can't do it with resistors. The body control module puts out a sign wave I think that has to be received by the PCM. There is a resistor that the body control module looks for in the column switch or on some the key. On ebay you can buy a VATS box that puts out the correct wave for the BCM. eBay Motors: GM VATS or PASSkey II Bypass Module For LS1 and LT1 (item 320199018493 end time Dec-28-07 15:42:05 PST)

    No good

    Those bypass modules will not work on trucks or vettes. Something to do with a serial signal or something. I do have acces to the BCM, can that just be wired in to start the truck? I am planning to send the computer to Allen at Nelson Perf. for a tune, but would like to get the truck started so I can move it around from my house to the muffler shop, paint shop and for inspection.
