does he race in the fort worth area? I do alot of playin up here, always lookin for a good Dogdge to race, if he is an 07 with the 6.7, hes not that fast, the 6.7s are still way behind the curve right now. Havent seen any at dyno events or races that have put anything worth racing a Punstang down. But maybe he knows something the rest of the diesel world doesnt.

No, he took out and sold his 6.7 and used the cash to buy his 5.9 block and had it fully built--balanced and blue printed... Yes, he races around in the FW area. He had Dr. Performance do most of the work and tuning. tuning is his main issue now--considering all he has done to it. His turbos are HUGE and it sounds like a hurricane coming through after he comes off boost... He lives in Mansfield, which is right next to FW. Yeah, you are right about the new 6.7 Cummins motor. One of the main things is the emissions--it is hard for the 6.7 to make any peaky power numbers due to the fact that was developed to meet the 2010 emissions standards... CAFE is really pushing for diesel motor manufacturers to clean up the emissions---GM (Isuzu) and Ford (Navistar) are only certified through 2007... One key thing for the 6.7 to make decent power numbers is to take the emissions crap off and try to develop tuning software to custom tune the PCM...

I hear you, I work in Cleburne, and spent the night in Mansfield jail not too long ago. Im always in the area. Where is there a good place in the area to see some cool trucks, or stir some races? I dont get alot of time off, but when I do I like to go mess around.

Ha---the Mansfield jail is NICE compared to Burleson's jail...hehe...and Forest Hill, and Arlington, etc. Wait--you didn't hear that ok?
Dude--whenever you are in town, let me know. I am down in that area every now and then--give me a shout! there are some fast trucks here and there...but you see a lot of them come out around Thursday-Sunday when they all go to the Kennedale 1/8 mile track...
