Kinda an old post but hey! I used to have a stock (funny I know) '01 C5 drop top. Had to sell that car as it was way too expensive to keep at the time...now that I am getting transfered and promoted = more play cash. Besides the C6 will be out by the time I am in the market for one again (late next year) I'll be able to scoop one up super cheap!

well, i know that this isnt a new car or anything, but its me and my dads 72 stingray, its my first car to do a full frame off resto. Its got a 350 4 speed, everything origional, numbers matching, 54K orig. miles. However, i wouldnt mind a new vette to take its place.

me and my dad are the second owner of it. We had it for about 8 years now and did the frame off about 4 years ago when i was old enough to do it. it took us 3 years to do. we have only put about 500 miles on it in 8 years, 250 to drive it home when my dad got it, and the rest last year going to corvette shows. 5 shows, 4 best in class, and 1 best of show. not bad i think.

I don't like the vette's. I never had They are high in ins. and price. I just want to bet them.
My C5 was only $2mo more ($85mo) than what my Z28 was. That was with a perfect driving record. I wouldn't exactly say Vettes are high on insurance if your record is clean.
    Thx,

I just traded my 2003 Z06 in for my new truck. I miss the Vette, but I needed a truck more than a play toy. My goal is to buy a 2007 Z06 in a couple of years.
