Ok Ive read My ass off and all ive found is people having problems with the fans not turning on high when the should. Do I need to get my vcm retuned? or can I just plug it in? Also he sold his nelson harness shortly after buying it and used a gm one. Why did he do that? Anyone?

Something about fan speed...the factory harness has 2 speeds for the fans and nelsons harness is only one....Amp draw is another factor. There is alot to read i know, just make a choice by what works for you.Are you more confused than when you started...lol

One more thing to consider...use2bfo wanted his to work exactley like OEM fans. Its not just an on off deal....I built my own using hayden thermos and hayden fans...they work ok i guess

Iam more confused now. Im not knocking nelson but i dont want to have cooling problems. Im sure some one has an ls1 fan setup that can help me out, I hope. Would it be better to just have it stay on constantly? And i dont want to get an upgraded alternator yet either. Help!!!
is that the one that sticks a prob in the radiator for the temp readings?

Weird , I checked both in your post and the original post worked both place .
I know it is EFILive and not HPTuners , ls1tech.com has the same conversation and relevant material .
Must be I use Fire Ferret , and some obscure Lizard OS .

all they say is to build my own. but what about harness? I think i might just make it stay on whenever the truck is on.
