I ordered my header flanges for my header build up. They were cheaper than i thought. Pace has them for $22/each and Dal has them for $15 each.

I think they are 1/2 inch steel, which is awesome, nice and strong.

I'll keep you guys updated on the install.

Don't know much about the pricing, but it seems like a good deal. Keep us posted.

When your done and you have all the pictures, y'all will need to put a "build your own headers" section.

Thanks, I'll definitely keep ya'll updated.

I'm going to take my time on this so expect a month before any real fabrication begins and another month before i acutally start the install.

It will be well woth it, at least to me, i want it just perfect. This will be the last exhaust system i do until the turbo setup happens, probably next year for the turbos.

Should be nice. So far as a swap can any stock (manufactured) headers work or do they need to be custom built. Does it depend on the truck and swap?

not sure on oem headers... but, the trucks only seem to have shortie headers available for them. In that case, the 6.0 exhuast manifolds only flow a little less, not enough to pay 500+ for shortie headers. Allen is making equal length long tubve headers for his truck. They should fit your truck also, not sure.

I just got ASM header, but isn't that the start of making headers or exhaust system? If he opens up the rear more HP. If you swap motors can standard header work or do they need tot be custom?
