With the correct jetting and nozzle placement a stock to lightly modded 5.3 could run a 125 all day long. There have been instances of guys running up to a 200 on the stock fuel pump and survived. The bottom ends on these motors can take the power, it is just the pistons that are the weak link. Just beware of running lean or puddleing fuel in your intake track and you should be ok.
