Thread: where to find a good tranny

    where to find a good tranny

    Does anybody know of any good tranny shop or online sites where i can purchase a new or rebuilt tranny with a shift kit and stall already built into it....all the shops around me wanna charge me over $2000 to rebuild my tranny and put in a shift kit...
    1999 Silverado...Asp underdrive pulleys, heddman headers, k&n cold air intake, nelson tune, exhaust e-cutouts, Custom center console that holds a 7" tv...2 10" apline type R...2 5.24 extreme speakers... 2 rockford caps...extreme 800 mono amp, extreme 400 watt amp...waiting on the JUICE

    ive had 4 new 1s all over 2 k a good tranny does cost that ,for our vehicles.flt will unfortunately cost you more but they have an excelllent reputation on here .even if it cost you eqal or more you can have the confidence itll be the last one you put in .i know ive been through plenty.just my 2 cents.good lluck

    do a search on performabuilt on tech. performabuilt is what im currently beating on and it hasnt had a hickup yet. guys on tech are pushing low 10's with them and running strong. no core charge/return comes with a tranny cooler and line flush and made it to me in about 5 days. customer support until 1am too...performabuilt automatics

    thank you...now i just have to decide which one to get and save to money....

    o i figured i would go for 1 more a holes tranny before i do .its hard when u dont know how long theyre gonna last then all of a sudden when yoo least expect it boom,theyre it goes .and then you need youre only work truck in 24 hrs you get sucked in to another local aholes best tranny shop around pitch.this time im ordering one and waiting the 3 weeks and having it sitting waiting to blow up [idea?] so now what !lol
