I realize all the stuff your saying about the towing and stuff. BUT what are the ACTUAL PHYSICAL differences on the truck? What PHYSICALLY makes a 2500 different from a 3500? Just badges and a couple of stickers?![]()

I might be wrong but i think its the suspension, and thats it. Motor and trans are the same, but suspension can hold more weight. also could be differential gears.
3500 is heavier than 2500 too
So you think its the suspension as in leaf packs and shocks? and maybe the gearing in the diff?

yeah, so if your not hauling then dont get a 3500, unless you just like the number 3 and moore weight. A duramax is a duramax they just make the springs stronger to hold more weight in the bed. and tow.
