Hey Billy how did u hook up the B&M shifter to the 4L60 trans i been looking to do somthing about this damn column shift in my 2001 reg cab. I HATE COLUMN SHIFT GRRRRRRRRRRR

IT wasnt anything hard. Pretty straight forward.

Im a tranny novice.... I thought the 4L60E is electronicly shifted thats why i asked... Is there a mechanical linkage? If it can be cable operated then yea i get it. Just wondering about that...

Yep, it has a cable that goes the the selector.

Would I need to do anything special with my 2001 model to make this work. Just wondering about the gear selector on the dash making problems, u know the whole push on the brake before u can get into gear or anything else weird like that....

what controls the indicator in the dash would stay on the trans. Its a little module on the side. The shifter comes with provisions for neutral safty and reverse lights too.
