Thats an alright deal, I dont see where it states the rod manufacturer. Im also unsure what it means by two-piece rod. All rods are two piece since the cap has to come off in order to be put on the crank, or is the main shaft of the rod a two piece? I have heard bad things about Mahles over on tech and the 4032 alloy is not the best for a boosted or nitrous app, with the extra heat of FI the silicon makes the pistons more brittle then the 4034 alloys. Rule #1 when you are looking to buy something, research, research, research, just because it has a good price and is a well known manufacturer doesnt mean its good stuff.

Thanks Cody - good info for sure. I'm not ready to buy yet, but saw these posted on PT.net so thought I'd post them here. I didn't catch that the rods weren't Mahle's. Anyway, thanks again for the info.
