This is what I did. I wanted to keep the baffle in. The holes made at the end and where the stud needs to be ground down, I inserted pieces of aluminum inside the holes before I hammered the baffle down. The holes are on top of the push rods oil squirter holes and I didn't want oil up there.
What follows is what I posted before.
If your left valve cover doesn't fit because the CC roller rocker studs hit the breather plate, don't fear. Grind the valve cover lip that is underneath the end of the plate, elongate the breather holes in the plate, grind out the stud boss --you will find it when you start beating the aluminum plate, put a piece of aluminum sheet inside each of the two gaps to close up the holes or else the vacuum might suck too much oil into the breather system. Then beat the plate down into the valve cover measure and check by putting it on with out the gasket. Silicon the bolt hole you opened up when putting the coils on.![]()
