Red... yeah the surfaces were flat (phawkin' surprising... considering Murphy has seemed like a resident in my home). I checked after Vince advised of possibility of uneven surfaces. I used a large square for a straight-edge. Kinda difficult to do in the bed of a pickup.

I too expected more inside the pump before I got ahold of an ATSG manual. The manual is great for learning. Experience teaches you the tricks of the trade.

BTW... test drove truck and shifts through all the gears as it should. The only thing that worries me is the lockup seems to strong. I think I'll restore the settings back to stock. I had them modified for 98% & 90%.
