    Question What should I choose?

    I have a choice between
    1. Superchip micro tuner- $250
    2. K&N Intake Granatelle maf and tb spacer- $250
    3. electric fan conversion- $240
    4. Pacesetter headers and a crane cam with springs that i cant install for a while- $330
I dont want to spend more than the $330 this month and if any one has any other sugestions let me know.

From what I understand you shouldnt run straight pipes, I would go with the lt's and cam, just my opinion.
2006 ecsb silverado, AFE Cai, Jet Maf, Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Lt's, true duals with Dynomax Bullets, cats and o2's....still emissions legal!

well you can definately take off the first one thats for sure. Don't go anywhere near handheld tuners. check out Nelson Performance - Performance without Sacrificing Drivability first for any tuning needs. The e-fans I hear is a nice upgrade.

I'd go with headers and cam (how so cheap for both items???).

You'll need a tune afterward though too, so you may just want to start with a tune.

Fans is a good option, but wouldn't be my first choice (plus you can do it for less than $240).

Skip the first two options (now and forever). Use a tuner like Allen Nelson or someone close to wherever it is you're located.

Intake is a good option at some point (especially with headers) but skip the MAF and TBS.

Check out TRT Performance, they did my tune for $350, Dustin is kick ass.

Best bang for the buck is the tune. Go with Nelson if possible.
You will be dissapointed with maf and throttle body spacer.
K&n Filter is a good upgrade.

Why not the MAF or TB spacer? Also On the Headers and cam, springs part... Im on shift for 24hrs at a time and i can dig up all kinds of deals arround. so, go with the cam& header or efan? BTW thanx for all the help.

the tb spacer will be a waste. you will not see any power gains, all it does is make your intake whistle. if you want one I have one sitting in the garage you can have! As far as choosing between the others, I say tune. if your getting the came and headers that cheap, I say cam headers and tune. Then your truck would hall some ass.

From my understanding, the spacers worked better on the older style throttle bodies. Worthless on the new ones, although some guys use them as a nitrous plate.
