    Feeler Thread - My Truck

I'm thinking about moving on to something else. What do you guys think I could get for my truck as it sits?
Motor Mods are in the sig. The seats are great besides normal wear and tear on the driver seat. Odometer read 79,xxx and the body is straight. Heres a few pics.

And yes those are VHO rims.

To tell ya the truth. Kind of a financial bind. Im building a house right now and dont really want to be stuck with a 400 dollar truck payment. I only owe 8 on it. so i was thinking I could get like and 99-02 Z71 or something. Thats what I used to have. I could make that fast also. Sleeper...

Honestly, KEEP the truck. But if you decide to de-mod the truck before you sell it, let me know. Interested in the LT's , stall and cutouts. Maybe do a little swapping for some factory parts.

wow i guess my 17 and 19 estimates were way off. how is a truck with 80k miles worth that much? i understand the whole its a SSS and cost $40k new thing but really WOW.

KBB was 17k ebay for the same year about same conditions with out mods ppl want 25, an you can build a new one on chevy.com a 07 with most good options with out leather for 35k. i use to want to get one an sell my truck so i did a lot of home work on this, the only way you will get one in below 20k is if the truck was wrecked bad.

Realistically, you could probably get 15k to 17k out of it. That would put you with about 7k-9k in your pocket, and you might be able to get into a decent 99-02 for about that much, but be prepared to get one with a few miles on it... If you could find one for about 7k with high mileage, take the remaining cash and use it to buy a newer, lower mileage motor. Then, with the extra available cash, replace parts as needed... It may sound like a hassle, but then, you wouldn't have a truck payment... Not having to shell out $400 per month would be pretty sweet...

I absolutely agree, that sounds like a good plan to me.
