okay that wasnt the problem like i had initially thought it may have been.
the changes in settings only affected the new registrations not the current users. i had to change it all manually. it should work now. i added ,mpg,avi,mpeg,wmv,mov

Yeah I got it to work. Except it won't let me put in the IMG code into the thread. I copied the link of the IMG code, but its not showing up.. So I just put the links of the url in.

yeah believe it or not thats actually a good thing. other hosting sites redirect you to their site and its usually a page full of advertising.
