    Copy paste from pt again

Well I swapped a relay and a fuse and the pump works now but the damn fuel level sending unit isnt working, my gas gauge shows dead empty and by looking in the tank I have ~1/3 of a tank. I used the pump to drain ~8 gallons out and at that point it sounded like the pump was cavitating(sucking in air with the fuel) and I didnt want to chance burning it up so I stopped there. Im not sure why it is doing that. I couldnt hold the jumper wire and watch the fuel feed closely into the gas tank to see if the fuel was getting erated(sp?) or not that will be a job for sunday. Tomorrow night Im taking the night off and saturday night I get to help move a friend With any luck(which I have none) it "could" be running Sunday

So new question: Why would the pump work but not the sender even though the two wires coming from each of the units goes to the same plug on the under side of the fuel bucket assembly?

I dont have any idea how it got messed up since I didnt mess with it when I did the fuel pump install other then unplugging the plug from the outside. Here is a pic of the POS connector that goes in the top of the fuel bucket

I bypassed that plug to test the pump and it works just fine when I turn the key, hopefully I can buy just hte plug by itself

For those that ever need to remove the bed by theirself and have a engine hoist here is how I do it

I put some rags on the bumper so the back of the bed doesnt get scratched when I lift the bed off

    works well

Im about ready for everything to work the way it should.
Dude you should do a tech write up on how easy it is to remove and replace the bed.
