ok I have a rcsb 2001 with a 5.3..... I just rolled 100k on the motor and it still runs great, going to tune it up this weekend with some NGK iridium plugs and Taylor 10.4mm wires. Im wonder with this amount of miles on the motor if a cam swap is a good idea or should i just wait and swap/rebuild the motor. If a cam swap is possible what cam to use with a stock converter, and how much of a pain in the a$$ is a cam swap with the motor still in the truck. I DO NOT WANT TO PULL THE MOTOR!!! As of right now everything is stock except i cut off the factory muffler for a 3" super 40 and im getting a K&N air intake next week.....![]()

I won't guarantee that you'll beat f-bodies, but you'll have MUCH fun trying.
