Would you suggest I go that way? BTW, to answer someone earlier, i do have the 4.8. my truck is a nnbs and has about 2500 miles now. I just asked if that ls2 would be a good upgrade because it has zero miles, brand new, and i think here in california when replacing a motor it has to be either the same year or newer or OEM part. thanks everyone for the advice. I know it may sound dumb to some people why I would want to swap a motor into a truck that is only 2500 miles old, but i got a great deal on it, and only owe the bank 11,000. Plus I think a NNBS reg. cab with either motor would be badass.

Up to you dude, that's how I'd go. Obviously you'll need some good heads to take advantage of it, but you'd have the foundation for anything you chose to do.

that way if you are ever wanting to go with a supercharger, turbo, or nitrous your ready to go just get the right heads and cam... and i doubt there will be very many people to stay up with ya... and its better to ask questions then not that way you dont have to always wonder...so dont take offense of what people tell you on here.. We're all after the samething in here.
