    Sweet!!! thanks man

yes my best before was a 14.2
as i said i had knock sensor issues and it was pulling 8* timing at WOT. now that we got that worked out the truck runs awesome. i think when i get my LTs and exhaust done ill free up like 35hp cause my cats and manifolds gotta be draggin me down top end

im buying a race built trans and a new converter here pretty soon, my next runs will be down at Maryland International Raceway Oct 7th and id liek to think i can put it in the 12s

you truck is easily capable of 12's. Especially once you get the exhaust flowing better. thats crazy that a bad knock sensor was pulling that much timing. did you notice losing power at WOT or no?

it felt REALLY top end weak, it still does cause of no headers. but as far as knowing it was doing that, no i didnt know at all... i didnt find out till the guys on PT.Net told me that happens when you have knock sensor issues. the only mods i had done since the 14.2 run was electric fans, i switched my steel wheels to aluminum wheels which are a little bit lighter and me and my tuner went out and tried to get everything right wit that knock sensor and finally corrected it and its hold timing now. i can feel the top end difference now... i cant wait to get my fbody LTs on

You may dip into the high 12's with the new, higher stall and LT's... I hope you do Your truck should be in the 12's now... Why it's not is a mystery to me... Oh, DUH--trash that G80 ASAP and put in a Tru-Trac... Also, you doing a Shaner TB?

ya i still think the truck should be running better than it is but i just gotta remember LTs are gonna make a big diff for me... thats were im doing bad is in my top end. dont know that it matters or not but my IDC is like 103 in some places haha. im gonna go ported and polished TB. as for the Tru-Trac due to my converter not flashing at all im not really losing traction off the line, in fact my truck just goes, i wish we woulda got some video yesterday but trust me, it sticks to the ground

One question...who did your tune? Quik? What the... It would solve a bunch of problems to have your tuner do a live scan... Also, once the stall works properly and the upper end gets better, you will need a posi. RCSB trucks with an LS1 and your same mods would obliterate the rear tires from a dig... Oh, and I thought that your DD would stay stock...what's this about a LQ4???
