It's in, and it lugs a little off the line do to the 3.73's. But once you get going, it HAULS! That tranny really woke it up, gets the power down quicker and it doesn't slip like a 4L60. Plus the gear ratios are awsome. The install went pretty smooth. Only ran into 3 major problems, but they were easy fixes. First problem was the starter had to be replaced with an LT1 starter do to the flywheel being smaller. It was easy, just costly. Second problem was the cross member, but it was an easy fix just required some fabricating. Third was a little bit harder, for some reason my stock yolk on the drive shaft has a small hole in it basically at the most inside part where the end of the tailshaft is. So since the T56 has an oil valley that runs through the center of the shaft it was leaking ATF out the hole. I don't know why the hole was there but it was easally fixed with a little welding. So the end product is exactly what I had hoped for. I just need to get the 4.56's installed soon, but it is a blast to drive. I will have more info and pics soon. I am working on setting up a website for all the info.
