ran my truck only once before it got rained out (Need help!!)

i know my truck is capable of better times.. I think that the fact that i still had my 22's on with my spare tires in the back of the bed and Not giving my truck time to cool off is why i think my time was not what i expected it to be... I drove from Irving to colleyville to arlington to kennedale and then race without letting it cool down so i think that was a minor setback for me... i was the last person to race on the track and it was the first time testing out the posi and stall...

I squelled the tires off the line so that cost me some time as well and i also kept it in Drive the whole time so it automatically shifted at 5500 instead of 6000....

with the LT headers and ORY I'm praying i'll break into the 9's doubtful but i'm going to give it a try.... I feel rather pathetic

Is that even a respectful time for my truck for what i have on it?? Do you think i can reach the 9's if i get the exhaust completed?

    my 60` times went from a 2.560 to a 2.246

    330 went from 7.147 to 6.698

any advice on how to get my 60` times down into the 1's without spraying off the line?

i think just getting rid of the 22s will get you in the 9s, add that to a Nelson Tune, mid 9s. what do mean by spare "tires"? do you carry more than 1?

I have a pair of 17" factory wheels.. I was going to swap them out once i got to the track...by the time i got there it was about to rain so i just kept them in the bed

Went to the track last night took the back 22's off left the ones in the front on and put some 16" wheels on in the back.....soon as i got there ran a Low 10.

I think if i let my truck cool down completely and get some ET Tires i'll finally be in the 9's......traction is finally becoming a issue on my truck for once but i'm pretty freaking happy of what it ran last night at kennedale.

Wat is your TC stall at?? Dude, if you get a cam like that (I have the same one), you will definitely have to get a tune done. No questions asked. If you do a cam, tune and ET slicks, no doubt you'd be in the mid 9's

i have a Tci 3000 but i can flash it to 3200. I think the truck is already in the 9's now that i got my Lt's and ORY on ... before i got those installed it was running a best of 10.14 without giving the truck time to cool down and the crappy tires that wouldnt grab to get any traction in 1st and a little in 2nd...
