Yeah, a 6.0 would be optimal, but that doesn't sound like a bad price. There are better deals out there though... You may wanna shop around some more... If you feel confident that you like the motor--go look at it and try to see if you can look at the truck it came out of. If that is not possible, try and get as much info on the motor as you can. Picking up a PCM is not a huge deal--you can get one at a junk yard for pretty cheap. You can get a 99-02 PCM...but the 01-02 had the faster PCM processor...
