You got it, you really won't be graphting the harness , that is such an overrated term lol. Basically, you're ripping out your existing harness and putting in a newer/reworked one. You'll use some of the wires from the existing harness, but not a lot of them. Things like the purple wire from the ignition that turns the starter soleniod, the tan wire which is the oil sender, the temp wire, fuel pressure signal, etc.
Take your time and understand what every wire does and match them up with what they do on each harness, then connect them.
All the pink wires on the new harness are fused to battery, the pcm has a few ignition hot wires and some constant hot wires.
