A ? for The Tuners. On my interceptor gauge it shows a few degrees of knock retard under light lugging conditions. If I accelerate it goes away, never any knock at WOT . I have a duel octane tune.

1. When does the PCM make up it's mind and go down to the lower octane table?

2.Does a few degrees of retard do it?

3.And how long does it take for the higher table to be used again?
