I have found in the past a replacement 2nd gear that is higher ratio, to avoid the rpm drop in my 700R4. Is this still available? (Raptor I think). I looked and got the impression things have changed...

If I can no longer do this, I am thinking a manual trans may be the best bet. I recall finding a stock chevy 5-spd that would bolt up to my 6.0, had 4 to 1 first, and reasonable gears on up. Any suggestions? For now i'm basically stock LQ4 for now, 3.73's and 285/75/16s. Thanks in advance...
