I also cut the tranny crossmember and modified it to bolt into the inside of the frame and lay completely flat. Unfortunately I didnt get pics.
I also started to modify the 90 seat brackets to bolt in some nice newer seats. The new seat sits lower so I cut 3 inches off the original seat brackets to use.
Along the way I noticed the truck had too many small items missing to complete it. I found a complete silverado with no engine and picked it up for less than 200 bucks.
The outside is rough but the interior and all the wiring and hardware is in great shape.
And I also made a trip up to ekstensive metal works and picked up a 4-link kit and a better transmission for the project.
