Hey guys and gals been snooping around for quite some time now and this site is by FAR the best place there is for everything ls! I have been wanting to swap out the 4.3l tbi crap box out of my 94 c1500 for some new age fuel injection. I just purchased a new rolling chassis to start a stock floor body drop and since I'm going this far I might as well ditch the motor and trans. I have narrowed it down to 3 engines; l33 5.3l, ls1, or lq 4/9, this will be my first attempt at a complete motor/trans swap so I am super pumped, But worried I have been trying to do my homewor on the swap but I know there will be sooooo many things I didn't think of, so if anyone has inputs on anything let me know, I obviously am trying to do this swap on a budget, but this project will be complete by June 2012, no matter what!! :-) I will be posting pics and info as I go,.and any info I can get from my new friends would be very much appreciated!!
