so i got the 6.0 into my truck and i need to do a tranny now. everyone has told me not to put the 4l60e back into it and swap it for the 4l80e. i have a 1999 gmc sierra reg cab short bed 4x4. so im not sure on what to do with the transfer case... do i get one from 4l80e as well?? and if its longer ill need driveshafts to. so wont this setup cost alot most then just getting a built 4l60e?? just trying to figure out what to do. also i noticed on my 5.3 there was transmission alignment pins and on the 6.0 there is not. is there a reason???
