Hello I'm new to the forum but have been in the car game for a little while. I have some questions and hoping to get some answers that will result in the best power for my money. I'm working with a 2010 4.8 Silverado 4x4. I currently have a KNN cold air, Flowmaster drop in muffler on factory piping and a PCMforless tune which is already set up for Long tubes. My questions follow.

I would like to purchase a set of longtubes but need to have cats available due to local emissions check. Our area does not look for California standards but must pass a physical inspection. I have been thinking about the Ceramic Pacesetters and welding in a Magnaflow universal cat to the Pacesetter Y pipe. Any reviews of fitment in this type of setup? Trying to avoid the 1200 Kooks or other high dollar setups.

Next on the list I have been thinking a lot about a cam and wanted to get some recommendations for the above setup. The engine doesn't need to have rough idle since I use my truck to pull a boat and a car hauler I need my brakes. Most of the time sounding fast and being fast are 2 different things unless you got the $ to do it right. I am looking for a cam that will give lots of Mid range power where I'm going to use it. I am not looking for a cam that is at 5000+ RPM before it starts to really pull since I do not plan on changing the torque converter out.

Due to the power increase from above do you suggest swapping out the servos in the transmission or is this a unnecessary modification? My truck has the 4 speed and if this is something I should look into is there a specific part number I should be looking into?

Finally the tune currently in my truck was done via HP tuners and I do have access to one of these units now and prefer not to pay for the new cam tune so I wasn't sure if anyone could share a tune for the upgraded cam?

I know this was a bit long for a first post but I rather ask then waste money.
