So I signed for the Chevy in my sig thurs and it having 100k on the ticker has some bugs I wanna get worked out pretty quick. Bare with me guys as I'm used to working on old Ford diesels instead of new Chevy gassers.

The front passenger door lock actuator only works about 50% of the time, it should be easy enough to replace as I installed car stereo/alarm systems for a summer job awhile back and am no stranger to tearing apart interiors. Just curious as should I stick to GM parts or is there another better brand?

When I picked it up the info center was telling me the right pass tire was low, I checked them and it had 40 something in it, the front had 60(these are BFG's rated for 50psi) and both the drivers had just under 30, so I evened them out to 40 and it went away. Drove 400 miles yesterday and in the last hour the yellow lighted started flashing and the info center said "service tire pressure monitoring system" I'm thinkin what the hell, pushed the button to make it go away. Yellow light stayed on for the last hour of the trip, truck has been turned off and started a few times since and has yet to come back. I'd like to fix it, anyone know where to start? But at the same time I don't want to dump much money into it as I already carry a tire gauge and know how to use it, if worst comes to worst could I rip it out and just rely on common sense to monitor the tires?

Now for the biggest PITA, cruise control no workie. The previous owner told me he would kick the brake pedal and it would start working, and sometimes it wouldn't disengage till he kicked it a few times. I have kicked it every which way I can and it will not set a speed at all(yes I have it turned on). I tapped on the switch on the brake pedal arm with a wrench to see if maybe I could knock somethin loose inside. Of course that didn't work, my dad has a truck identical I plan to pull the switch off of to maybe diagnose the problem. Any other ideas?
