I bought a '93 chevy 1500, scrapped the 4.3, had the old 305 cleaned (there were cracks). Bought a 350 4-bolt main. It needed bored .040 over. 58cc 305 heads(1.84-1.5), dished pistons w/reliefs,and a decent cam. I got the engine kit yesterday and can't wait to see if the compression is low enough to run on pump gas. Any thoughts? (w/o going bigger heads)?
