Hey everyone, I stumbled across this site tonight and though I would be a contributing member. I may have some questions and I may have some answers to help someone if I've had a similar issue in the past. I have a 2010 4.8 Silverado ext cab 4x4 that I picked up in June and so far I have a K&N intake, and HP Tuners Tune done by the guys at PCMforless.com. They did a good job and I had them remove the codes for the cats being that have been kicking around ceramic coated pacesetter Long tubes in the spring possible cam, 3500 stall converter or going to another route of turbo or 125 spray. I really like this truck and traded in my 2006 5.3 silverado when I got it. That was a WT 2wd Std cab and I do miss the better acceleration it had and want to get that back and some more. I went to the new one as its going to be my primary vehicle and is big enough for me to start a family and haul our boat/ quads and my dads Tri 5. I have build 6 Turbo cars all 4 or 6cyl in the past and a couple Gen 1 small blocks. I have yet to go into a Gen3/4 engine but do have garage time and not to intimated by doing things myself I do have a little bit of tuning experience with Megasquirt from prior applications but its been a while so I know I'm rusty on answering questions. From the cars I built in the past I had to make most of my turbo kit from scratch or adapt parts from other cars due to the lack of availability so thinking outside the box was a necessity. I work for a performance shop which makes it hard to escape my addiction to the automotive disease and I am always building imaginary setups for my truck and thinking of different options/ routes to go. Well that ended up being a lot longer than I originally expected and all for now I hope to talk to you soon.
