I drove a 2500 Heavy Duty Hemi crewcab 4x4 when they first came out...it is a nice truck but they are super heavy. Also that 5 speed auto some have suck up some serious power (internals and converter). 30% power loss seems about right. Hell a fully built trans saps close to that with a high stall converter...345-30% = ~248hp

I'd like to see someone pull out that motor and stick it on an engine dyno to see what it'll do.

Despite their portly demeanor (heavy, for you dumbasses) my truck is a heavy SOB also and probably lays down about as much rwhp. Maybe their drivers need to learn to manually shift that biznitch to get some shift extension from the gears.

Also I'd like to see one of these with a full exhuast (long tubes), intake, GOOD tune, and some stall (as well as a shift kit) to see what it'd do then. After that perhaps a cam and maybe an intercooled twin screw.

They have some serious potential. I'd bet once the aftermarket sets their bongs down, leaves Taco Bell, and finishes a few 24oz MGD cans they may come to their senses.
