A friend of mine has a 04' 2500HD truck that i want really bad. I want to purchase this truck out right from him, but when he talked to the dealership they were pushing him to trade it in for the price i want to pay, and then sell it directly to me + the taxes. Has anyone one heard of this kinda deal? Just wondering whats the advantage for the dealership. They told him it would save him some on the taxes of the new truck he's buying, but i duno..
