The LS1 fans do not cover the full opening on the 28" radiator. Build a better shroud when installing these fans. In this 100+ deg heat at idle I have not had the truck go above the 185 that Allen has programmed mine for. Once you get moving you will be using the incoming air flow to cool things down. Those sellers put that disclaimer as I am sure someone put a fan behind a "Hot/Highly Tuned Engine" and probably not able to keep up. But for the mods most people are doing here the fans keep up very well. Do a search on helper fans and you can see who has added more flow and who has had problems.

Hehe, yep. I used to have an old Chevy celebrity with e-fans. The fans crapped out for some reason or another, but as long as I stayed moving, the car would stay cool. Once I stopped at a light, the car would overheat.
