This part that you found is for the GM 14 bolt full-floating diff with 10.5 inch ring gear. It re-uses an open diff case, simply replaces the side & spider gears.Originally Posted by youngun
With the semi-floating 9.5 inch ring gear setup that he has, he will need the more expensive diff, and it comes with a diff case, as pictured.
