Okay, here's what I have to work with... rusty as hell. For the record, it's a 6.0L from a 2001 1500HD going into a 1994 Chevy Cheyenne 2500 4wd with a 4l80e.



What I am wondering is:

a) do I need to find and use a new stock sending unit OR can I find and use something different.

b) I know I need a high flow fuel pump (as described in many other threads) but if I don't reuse this type of stock sending unit, what other options might there be.

c) a fuel cell or a new stock tank?

d) what should I do about lines? the stock lines ripped apart as I was removing the engine and trans and split right near the filter in the frame rail.
