My son-in-law turned me on to this site. I have spent the last 6 months building an 88 Jeep wrangler rockcrawler. It is running an '06' 6.0 LQ4, with an '05' 4L80E to make it move. I have an after market transfer case built by Advance Adapters. It is an Atlas II with a 5.0-1 low range. I am running an early 80's set of Chevy 1 ton axles, a dana/60 front and 14bolt FF rear with 4:56 gears. It has a custom built 4-link rear suspension with coil springs for better articulation. Here are a few pics.
I just got the rig driving on the street last weekend. This is a street legal rig. That I will be able to rockcrawl with and drive around on the street on pretty weekend. Maybe a few trips to the beach this summer. Draws a lot of attention on the street. I hope this fits into your site here.
