Lowering questions...
Alright so it's lowering 101 for me. I have an 03 Sierra rcsb(step side). I have wanted to lower my truck for like 2 years now and haven't done it but I have pretty much come to the conclusion that unless someone here can talk me out of it I'm gonna do it. What I'd like to know are the pro's and con's to lowering a truck. I want my truck to handle better and I want to be able to take turns a lot faster than stock. Not autocross level or anything but I'd like it to handle more like a factory Camaro would. I realize ofcourse this isn't a sports car but I am not able to get rid of the truck and quite frankly I love it so I just want to turn it into what I want. Ofcourse I'm on a rather low income too which is why I need advice. I also don't want to create traction problems. This is my only mode of transportation so I will have to drive it in the snow and ice when necessary although we haven't had a problem with that in my neck of the woods yet(knock on wood).
What I was thinking is a 2/3 drop. I know there are different ways of doing this but that is about the level I want to drop it. What can ya'll tell me?
