Here's what I'm thinking as the HPE 408 is WAY overbuilt for what I need. I don't need forged crank or H-beams on a street NA vehicle.
6.0 low output motor
Diamond or Arias flat tops (10.4:1 comp on a 70cc chamber which is stock 6.0)
TSS gapless rings
ARP rod bolts
New rod bearings
ARP main bolts (or studs dependant on price)
New main bearings
Cam, TR220 probably or 224. 220 would be better for my heavy truck I bet.
Stock 6.0 heads for now (big chamber Z06 ones), then maybe some ported ones later on.
I was thinking 380-400rwhp should be attainable with that setup. What ya guys think?
The rest should be/is now: Yank TT3K, have shorty headers (will go to LTs), and 4.56:1 gears on the 33" shoes I'm running.
