Found my way here through LS1Tech.com and figured this was the place to hang out and gather info for my project.

I've become the recent owner of an 88 1500 RCSB pickup and the anemic 4.3L just isn't cutting it and the stock 700R4 (one of MANY in this truck!&#33 is on it's last legs.

Looking to do a swap for a 6.0/4L80E and just in the info gathering stages.
