Thread: clutch question

    I'm swapping out my tranny for another stock one. I figured now would be as good of time as any to change out my clutch. So should change the slave cylinder out as well???? I dont know jack about all this hydraulic crap that these trucks, and is there anything else i should replace while i'm under there

    00' 4.8l 5spd, K&N intake, Granatelli M/A, Shorty headers, Hypertech prg., 160* 2/4 drop

    no there is no need to change the slave out. just make sure you change the throw out bearing and i would do the royal purple sycromesh fluid change. thats what i did and it help out a lot. Also you can do the hurst shifer for the nv3500 i love mine it just rocks. any outher question let me know i will be happy to help
    its just a work truck 4.8L with a 5 speed
