according to http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html your tires are 2.2" taller than my current tire. I'm running my tires with a 4/8 drop. I honestly think you'll be okay. My buddy ran a 285/55/20 on his 2/4 drop on an ecsb truck. the only problem you may run into is with the rear fender lips depending on the backspacing.

I ordered the 4" leaf packs and swaybar setup today on the gp going on, its going to be 2 to 4 week before it get here, I will need the 2" spindles and shocks, I just hope this mod goes well.

    good luck on your end

ps: kellyperformance @ sss.com said the tires will not rub, I like to keep my stock tires and rims

    04silverado, im running 275/45/20's with my 4/8.

the back end with a 2/4 will not be squatted. it should still have a slight rake in the rear.

I have 285/55/20 with over 3" drop and it still comes no where near the tire even with a small load in the bed

    Not a problem for 2/4
