Thread: pacesetters longtubes

    what would be the Hp gains if i go with longtubes headers, which currently have edelbrock shorties, and would it be worth the money to do it. Would it require a retune as well

    I went from stock manifods, and gained about 2-3 trucks length on the street.

    i gained big time when i went to lt headers and open 3" exhaust with the radix...yes you will need a retune...

    I gained .2 tenths in th 1/4 so im estimating about 20 hp maybe
    99 ECSB 5.3 LS6 CAM AND SOME BOLT-ONS BEST TIME 13.6@97MPH

    I THINK U DO GAIN SOME HORSEPOWER WITH SOME LONG TUBES.I JUST BOUGHT SOME.I WENT WITH HOOKER SUPER COMP LONG TUBES AND WITH A HOOKER Y PIPE RUNNING A 12" BORLA XR1 SPORTSMAN AND MAN DID I NOTICE A DIFFERENCE.

    I've always heard long tubes best gains are in the top end , but from what I've experianced with my personal vehicles is an all over improvement.

    i dont have any headers but if you like the long tubes let me know cause i want to put some on.
    2006 ecsb silverado, AFE Cai, Jet Maf, Pacesetter Ceramic Coated Lt's, true duals with Dynomax Bullets, cats and o2's....still emissions legal!
