So I was doing my duties as an aspiring journalist(ok i was trying to find news for our frontpage over at QST) when I stumbled across IT. IT can accelerate from 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and runs 11.9 second quarters. IT can leave a Viper in the dust(by a car length) to 60 MPH and from there proceeds to beat it all the way through the 1/4 mile. IT is a Jeep Grand Cherokee on steroids, and is for sale for under $70,000. I'll admit I'm not a huge DC fan BUT when something performs like this and can still seat 4-5 people it shouldn't go unnoticed. You can read more about this beast:HERE!

Yeah, I stumbled across that thing a few months ago on the Hennessey website when I was trying to get my friend who just bought an SRT-8 Charger to do the Hennessey 600 package. That 6.1L HEMI is a pretty badass motor the way it is, but when you throw in AWD and a turbo... When I viewed the 0-60 runs from the Hennessey website, they were rather undramatic. No wheel spin, no smoke churning from the tires, nothing... the rearend squats down and it is gone! The odd thing is that the turbo is located underneath the chassis next to the tranny---so it is highly recommended that you do not drive it in the rain or splash through puddles because the K&N cone filter is down there too...

There are a few clips of a stock SRT8 Jeep on YouTube running against an ML 63 AMG. It's kinda funny because DC produced 2 phenomenal SSUV's. The SRT8 is less expensive than the AMG Benz and it is faster to 110 or so... You can even throw on the Hennessey 600 package and still be cheaper and wayyyyyyy faster.
