Got the headers installed over spring break - pacesetter LTs. I'm impressed with the gain; nice mid range and awesome at WOT. Not impressed with the TERRIBLE sound i get with the flowmaster in the midrange - resonates BAD. I also changed out the stat to a 160 and deleted the cats. I'm still waiting on a retune. Definitely recommend pacesetter to anyone. Flowmaster - not so much. Anyone else have an opinion/problem with Flowmaster???

you do the install by yourself?
what would you recommend to someone that will be installing them soon?
did you use the ory or did you go custom duals?
sorry no comment about the flowmaster.

I think my truck sounds good with the Pacesetter LTs no cats and 50 series flow. It could sound better though. I did them myself also and it was pretty easy and straitforward. Come to waco Leo we could get it done in 3 hours or so. Ive got all the tools you need and a lift so the final piping would be easy.

i might have to take you up on that offer.
are you talking about doing my exhaust too?
my factory y-pipe is already cut and i want to get some cutouts put in before the muffler.

If you order the ORY pipe then it is simple. I can do anything as long as it doesnt involve pipe bending (I dont have a pipe bender)

well i plan to keep my cats so i don't have to worry about who i need to go see to get my truck inspected. i'll probably need some pipe bending done.

The install was quick and easy - Some friends and I did it in a few hours. I don't have the ORY b/c my truck came from the factory with duals. I cut the cats out and added a small bend where the cats were. It shouldn't take you too long - pretty simple.

I dont have pipe here at the shop. It is a collision center. If you could get the right pipe and there is no bending involved than it is posslible. As long as there is enough room to weld, but I can get in pretty tight places. As for the inspection, i would rather discuss that through PMs.
